Research Development Consultant

JOB SUMMARY: The primary activity for the Research and Development Consultant will be to assist the Director of Research and Development to cultivate, maintain and communicate a thorough knowledge of the current utility vegetation management industry. Responsibilities also include public speaking at Arboricultural conferences and contributing articles to industry trade publication. Further, the successful candidate will manage projects and provide support in several utility vegetation management-related areas. These include strategic consulting, short-term field project management, and business analytics (e.g., industry analytics and market research). In addition, this role will assist on existing contracts under the guidance of the Director of Research and Development. This position is responsible for supervising project Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs), project planning, organizing, and monitoring work processes.
