Specializing in mechanical systems across the I-4 corridor (Lakeland to Daytona), employees enjoy minimal travel and a strong team-oriented culture.Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. This role requires expertise in chilled water piping, heating hot water, and sheet metal estimating, with a strong emphasis on cultural fit and alignment with the company's mission. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical estimating, but the company is also open to high-potential candidates earlier in their careers with strong technical skills and a go-getter attitude.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial and industrial projects.Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine costs.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate bids.Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.Conduct occasional on-site walkthroughs (flexibility for remote candidates).Collaborate with internal teams to align estimating practices with company goals.Qualifications:5+ years of mechanical estimating experience preferred (open to high-potential candidates with less experience).Expertise in chilled water piping, heating hot water, and sheet metal estimating.Strong technical knowledge and ability to analyze project plans and specifications.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on cultural fit.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Open to relocation assistance for the right candidate.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $90K - $130K (based on experience).401K Match: Currently at 7.5%, continuing to riseHealthcare: Self-insured company with minimal premium increases over the past five years.PTO: Unlimited paid time off for salaried employees.Perks: Free pair of Red Wing boots annually + full PPE provided.Continuing Education: Ongoing training and career growth opportunities.This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values skill, cultural fit, and long-term growth.
