Sales ManagerRemote-Midwest. Ideal candidate would be commutable to Detroit, MI.Will consider someone in MI, IN, IL, OH, or WI.Must have experience selling plastic or paper packaging SPECIFICALLY to grocery stores, bakery, or produce markets.Our client is an industry leading plastics manufacturer. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who has experience selling directly to grocery stores. Ideally, this would be in plastics or paper. Selling items to grocery such as bags, trays, cups, lids, etc. would be the ideal background. This is a growing company with great stability. Come be a part of an incredible team!Essential Duties and **Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives throughout the Midwestern United States.Set and track sales targets for individual representatives and the team as a whole.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, and engineering, to ensure customer needs are met.Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to senior management.Identify and implement process improvements to optimize sales efficiency.Stay abreast of industry developments and new technologies.**5+ years of sales experience in plastics or paper packaging. Experience selling directly to grocery stores (bags, lids, trays, cups, etc.). Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field.Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Results-oriented and driven to achieve success.Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.Willing to travel up to 35%.
