** Carlsbad, California, USA** Inspection Technician** $30/hr on W2** 18+ MonthsJob DescriptionThe candidate will have 2+ years of experience performing incoming inspection (IQA) on raw materials (wafers, PCBAs, components, housing, pull tabs, etc.) and outgoing inspection (OQA) on completed assemblies (modules).Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements.Ability to understand procedures and apply accept/reject criteria to inspection results.Complete understanding of AQL sampling plans.Ability to understand and apply accept/reject criteria.Ability to generate NCMRs (Non-Conformance Material Reports) and communicate reasoning for rejecting material to all levels of the organization.Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, micrometers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), and others.Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.Ability to interface with production, engineering, and management to communicate issues arising during inspection.Qualifications and SkillsGood communication skills.High school diploma (Associate degree is a plus).IPC certification is a plus.2-4 years of experience in a high-tech environment.Ability to understand instructions and follow directions with minimal supervision.
