Senior ETL Developer

Identified as one of the top 100 fastest growing private businesses in San Diego by the SD Business Journal, HNM Systems is a rapidly growing, people-driven Communication Information and Emerging Technology staffing and consulting firm.We are seeking a Sr. Talend Developer to join our team, focusing on ETL development and data integration. This role requires hands-on experience with Talend, while additional experience with other ETL tools is a plus. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.This is a hybrid position, and will require some onsite presence in the office. This role is available in both Chantilly, VA or Deerfield, IL. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Talend.Work with large datasets to transform and integrate data from multiple sources.Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met.Requirements & Qualifications:Strong experience with Talend and at least 5 years' experience for ETL development.Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).Experience with data integration, data modeling, and transformation.Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Familiarity with other ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage).Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting.Job Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerProficiency using a computer and common professional programs (ex: Office 365)Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesCompensation: Hourly Rate: Starting at $65.00/hr and there is flexibility for higher compensation, based on experience.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage, Supplemental Insurance through Aflac, & 401K plan.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the incumbent(s) of this job.
