In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the developer experience for Equinix Digital Products by creating robust, user-friendly tools that enable seamless integration and management of services. Your work will not only improve the efficiency of developers but also contribute to the overall success of Equinixs offerings in the digital infrastructure space.Develop Terraform Plans, Ansible scripts to provision the infrastructure on Azure, AWS, GCP, etc. and make it open source to help communityAutomate and Test Terraform scripts using Golang, Terratest frameworkDevelop and maintain API Test automation frameworkDesign, build and coordinate an automated build & release CI/CD process using GHA.Hands-on Architecture, Design, Development, Automation Testing & Support of Software Products and SolutionsInteract with stakeholder(s) to understand and document the product feature(s)Provides level of effort (LOE) for product backlog. Work with technical project managers and product management teams to define scheduleAssist in the analysis & evaluation of new technologies to meet the demand for product roadmap and technology platform goalsHelp in the evaluation and recommendation of appropriate technologies for product features and platformAdvocate and follow best design and development practices adhering to Engineering standardsPrioritizing and parallelizing the tasks in hand and dealing with ad-hoc requests***Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of professional software development experienceMinimum 2+ years of expertise in Go, Terraform Providers, CLI, Ansible, PythonMinimum 1+ years of experience in Developing Terraform scriptsMinimum 2+ years in OpenAPI specs, SwaggerHub, SDK generation processes through OpenAPI ToolsKnowledge of SQL, Java, JSON and source control Git required.DevOps mindset to improve CICD using GitHub Actions.Real-world experience with continuous integration and delivery is requiredHands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and Test-driven developmentA sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, Team playerGreat interpersonal and communication skillsAdditional DetailsHybrid, 2 days a week in Redwood City office12-month contract$55-$65/hr.
