Structural Engineer- PE

Job **We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York (NYS PE) and possess extensive knowledge of NYC Building Department regulations and procedures. Proficiency in Bluebeam is required to support efficient design review and project collaboration.Key *Design and analyze structural systems for commercial and residential buildings, and infrastructure projects.Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and calculations as per NYC Building Department codes.Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing and marking up construction documents.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to develop cost-effective solutions.Obtain necessary permits and approvals from NYC agencies.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.*New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.Experience with Bluebeam is required.Understand and apply NYC Buidling codesThorough NYC Building of Department regulations is required.Bachelors or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.5+ years of experience in structural design and engineering.Strong understanding of materials, and construction methods.Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, etc.) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred **Experience with NYC-based projects, especially schools K-12.
