The NYC office of a global digital marketing company is looking to add an Events Associate to their team for the duration of 2025. This person will be joining 2 other Events Team members to prepare and execute all aspects of B2B events. This is a hybrid position, in the office 2 days/week and working from home for the remainder of the week. The position is on the companys payroll and is therefore entitled to all of their benefits (health insurance, 25 annual PTO days etc.).Responsibilities:Event Planning & Coordination:Plan and execute events from start to finish, including scheduling, venue selection, logistics, catering, and entertainment.Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and staffing needs.Vendor Management:Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors (caterers, decorators, entertainers, audio-visual, etc.).Ensure contracts are executed and services are delivered as agreed.Budgeting & Financial Management:Create and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.Track expenses, negotiate deals to stay within budget, and recommend cost-effective solutions.Logistics & Operations:Oversee the logistical details of the event, including transportation, equipment, signage, and attendee registration.Troubleshoot any issues or emergencies that arise during the event.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as an Events Manager, Coordinator, or similar role in the B2B space.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
