They are now looking to expand and establish a dedicated sales team to help take their business to the next level.Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth in the event production space. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company in a creative and fast-paced industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sales strategies to bring in new business for our AV/lighting, production, custom fabrication, and creative technology services.Leverage existing industry connections and partnerships to create new sales opportunities.Identify and pursue new client leads through various channels including cold outreach, networking, and attending industry events.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with the creative and production teams to tailor offerings to clients needs and ensure successful event execution.Work closely with the management team to develop pricing, proposals, and contracts.Actively participate in networking events and industry conferences, representing the company and expanding our brand presence.Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.Qualifications:Proven sales experience in the event production or live events industry, ideally in NYC and beyond, with a strong network of industry contacts.A track record of success in generating new business, developing relationships, and closing sales in the event or creative technology sectors.Ability to understand client needs and creatively pitch AV/lighting, production, and custom solutions that fit their requirements.Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with a variety of clients.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A passion for the events industry, with knowledge of trends, technologies, and best practices.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the events space in NYC and beyondStrong understanding of AV/lighting, production, or creative technology solutions for live events a plus.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Why Join Us:Be part of a passionate, creative, and forward-thinking team in a growing company.Opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and innovative events across different cities and industries.Competitive salary and commission structure based on performance.Flexible working environment with a balance of remote work and in-office collaboration.To discuss this role in greater detail please send your resume outlining your sales experience in the event space.
