This role involves managing, maintaining, and supporting our Citrix environment, ensuring a high-performing, reliable, and secure experience for our users. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to system maintenance and optimization.RESPONSIBLITIES:Citrix Environment Management:Maintain and optimize Citrix infrastructure, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix StoreFront.Monitor system performance and health, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.Implement and enforce Citrix best practices for configurations and security.Troubleshooting and Support:Provide Level 2-3 support for Citrix-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues for end-users.Respond to incident tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Collaborate with IT teams to address multi-tiered technical issues impacting the Citrix environment.System Maintenance and Updates:Conduct routine Citrix environment upgrades, patches, and updates in alignment with best practices and security protocols.Ensure minimal disruption to users during maintenance through proper change management and communication.User Management and Access Control:Manage user access to Citrix resources, including setting up user profiles, permissions, and troubleshooting access issues.Collaborate with security teams to ensure that Citrix solutions are in compliance with company security policies and standards.Automation and Optimization:Identify opportunities for automation and implement scripts or tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.Continuously assess the environment for optimization opportunities to improve user experience and system performance.Documentation and Reporting:Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for the Citrix environment.Provide regular reports on system performance, user activity, and incidents, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.QUALIFICATIONS:Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with Citrix environments, with hands-on expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix StoreFront.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Strong troubleshooting skills, including experience with performance monitoring tools and log analysis.Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation.Experience with Citrix Cloud and Citrix Workspace (preferred).Certifications: Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher preferred.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to system management.
