Transportation One is defined by three our core values, driving the single most important attribute of an organization, its culture!Job purposeAs a Carrier Sales Manager you will be responsible for building an agile, effective team of Carrier Sales Reps by cultivating and maintaining relationships between carriers, internal reps, and Transportation One as a whole.Qualifications• 7+ years' experience in the industry• 3+ years' management experience• Knowledge of multiple modes of ***** Van, Flatbed, Reefer, LTL, FTL and Rail• Dynamic leader with a bold presence and contagious positive attitudeDuties and responsibilitiesLead, Manage, Accountability• Manage KPI development, deployment, and adherence• Enforce and hold carrier reps accountable for following company and departmental SOPs• Conduct regular team performance reviews and coach employees accordingly• Provide ongoing training of carrier reps through coaching and sales development• Daily focus on Rep development and workflow executionBoard Management• Assign freight to reps based on regions and lane history• Collaborate with pricing manager and sales reps on rate strategy for annual RFPs and contract bidding• Analyze market and competition to understand transportation and supply chain industry and adapt strategy to achieve competitive edge in the marketplaceLoad Coverage• Oversight of carrier procurement functions including contractual & transactional sourcing• Ensure all loads have at least three offers logged in load notes• Establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the overall carrier sales strategy• Work with carrier partners to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challengesMaintain Service Levels• Autonomous track & trace adoption and compliance.BenefitsPTO (Paid Time off) + Company holidaysMedical, dental, and vision healthcareCompany paid short term disability, life, and AD&D insuranceCompany paid maternity and paternity leave401k with company matchCompany provided onsite gym membershipCompensationCompensation for this role will range between 100,000-113,000 + quarterly bonus program.
