JANUS et Cie currently has an opening for a Residential Sales Associate to work out of our Showroom in New York City, NY. This job is on site at our showroom in Manhattan.Salary ***** $64,350-$66,000ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAnswer calls, arrange outgoing shipments and receive/process all incoming shipmentsGreet clients and assists them on the floor if a sales rep is not availableMaintain a small book of business leveraging walk in clientele not assigned to a current sales repAssist in creative ways of finding new clientsPre-qualify and assist new leads via phone and emailCreate informal and formal sales quotes as required by Sales Specialists and Showroom ManagerFollow up with clients on status of outstanding sales quotes as directed by the sales teamEnsure all back up sales paperwork is accurate and completeOrganize and perform mass market mailings and e-blasts in cooperation with MarketingHelp coordinate special eventsMaintain contacts databases and mailing listsMaintain all finish sample and literature inventory levels in the showroomUpdate price lists and post to shared drivesHandle and track all floor samples and finish samples borrowed from the showroomMaintain showroom appearanceOrder office suppliesOther duties as neededREQUIREMENTS2 - 3 years of office administration experiencePrevious sales experience with luxury products is a plusSkilled at graciously answering phones and greeting visitorsHighly organized and detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with a sense of urgency to assist the sales team as neededStrong computer skills including Microsoft suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)REFLECTS OUR BRAND ***** • We listen to our Customers • We rely on our Members • We honor Integrity • We embrace Continuous Learning • We lead with Design • We create Value • We make the World Better
