The Funding Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for compliance with company policies and procedures, review documentation problems and resolve with dealer clientele. As well as overseeing the review of documentation problems and resolves with dealer clientele. Essential Functions Reviewing and resolving documented problems on paperwork Determine whether loan package is acceptable/unacceptable based on Funding compliance policies and lender requirements. Resolving document issues with dealer clientele Finish calls in a timely manner, making sure initial contact on problem paperwork happens within appropriate deadlines Oversee funding delays with other lender(s) and maintain tracking for accuracyWork with team lead(s) to monitor and track lender(s) funding delays for accuracy and training. Communicate with other lender(s) on funding delays Assisting with Assistant/Analyst duties as needed Assist with maintenance report and organization including CIP and Fund-by Fax program Oversee documents in the pending lender queue(s) Ability to make exceptions on paperwork with appropriate clearance Assist with REC external lender audits (***** CCU audit emails)Other duties as assigned by Funding ManagementRequired Education and ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in the Funding Department and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail and accuracy requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds. This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
