Plant Manager- aerospace; machined partsAlgonquin, IL area$135k-$150k + bonus opportunityEstablished manufacturer of machined parts to aerospace, defense, and other industries needs a Plant Manger to plan, direct, and coordinate plant operations in a Union shop.Manage production operation of precision machined parts (CNC, etc.) efficiently.Directs and expedites machine repairs and correction of other problems obstructing production procedures.Plan the use of facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and future manufacturing requirements, including department budgets and guidelines, plant layout and improvements, capital expenditure programs.Develop and maintain an effective organization through hiring, training, and motivation of personnel.Develop management talents necessary to obtain short and long-range goals by effective direction, counseling, and training.Assure safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations are met or exceeded.Initiate programs for improved quality, lower costs, and increased overall efficiency.Develop an operating budget for each section supervised and initiates action to operate within those fiscal plans.Direct the setting of rates for use in the E.R.P. system and cost estimating.Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or 10-12 years' engineering and manufacturing experience, including supervisory experience, in a labor intensive production machine shop or related operation.Must be a hands-on leader, not just a manager.Email resume ***** info@ and refer to job PMC-TM-25
