Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Required Skills and Experience *- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering- 7+ Years experience in Enclosure Design, Microvalve and Spring Selection relative to design.- Plastic Injection Model Experience from Design perspective.- 10+ years as a Mechanical Design Engineer and ability to lead Junior Engineers.- Hands on experience with SolidWorks 2023 or 2024.- Regulated Industry Experience (designing to federal standards)Nice to Have Skills and Experience- Medical Device Experience- Material Selection for Compatibility with IEC 60601 and IEC 61010 (medical device)- CREO 8.0+ Experience- Windchill / PTC Work groupJob Description *Insight Global is looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer onsite in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be able to understand client applications and instrument interfaces and create appropriate design according that will also comply with Design for Manufacturing standards. Other responsibilities include understanding how to integrate medical components and strong hands on experience with Enclosure Design.
