Our success in helping families relies on our commitment to our employees.Summary/Objective:The BCBA Supervisor works with the Director of Clinical Services and a team of BCBAs, Mid-Level Supervisors and Registered Behavior Technicians to provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The Supervisor consults, provides training to caregivers, and conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients.The BCBA Supervisor is required to adhere to the BACB's Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts® as well as all regulatory and statutory rules of California Department of Health Care Services.Essential Functions:Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of evidence based behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measuresDevelops individualized goals and objectives for programs and designs behavior intervention plans based on functional assessment dataEnsures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectivesTrains clinical staff on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systemsIs responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with BCBAs, Mid-Level Supervisors and Behavior Technicians.Conducts monthly team meetings with all employees and Parent / Caregiver presentProvides consistent parent / caregiver training using various curricula based on behavioral approachDirects and monitors supervisee competencies and performanceMaintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to Aura Behavioral Health, LLC's policies and state and federal regulationsAdditional Functions:Meets regularly with the Director of Clinical Services and notifies them immediately of issues impacting client's progress and satisfactionCompletes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as required by regulatory parties and as requested by the CompanyParticipates in meetings and activities to promote company initiativesSeeks further training and participates in professional developmentInteractions with co-workers are professional and conducive to an ethical environmentActively communicates Aura Behavioral Health, LLC's outreach efforts to communityOversees and directs the scheduling of Supervisors and Behavior Technicians as needed and ensures proper billingTravels to and partakes in regional events as necessaryResponds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate mannerAdheres to the mission, vision, and values of Aura Behavioral Health, LLCRequired Education and Experience:A masters degree and educational coursework completed in applied behavior analysis, child development, special education, psychology, or related field.Certification from the BACB®Demonstrate a thorough understanding of NET, DTT, PECS®, Assent-based intervention and other ABA strategies.A minimum of three years experience working directly with children with autism and/or developmental delays.A minimum of one-year experience supervising RBTs.Experience in various challenging behaviors including aggression, self-injurious behaviors, elopement, etcFluency with administering and scoring criterion-referenced assessment/curriculum (e.g. VB-MAPP®, ABLLS-R®, AFLS®, etc) and norm-referenced assessments (e.g. Vineland®, etc)Experience with Central Reach data collection and practice management platform (preferred)Employee Benefits:2 weeks Paid Personal Time OffPaid HolidaysExtremely supportive work environmentProfessional growth opportunities within a small and thriving companyRoom to influence and impact company cultureFlexible schedules and motivation to practice work-life balanceHealth-dental-vision insurance (full-time status required)Retirement PlanUnlimited and free access to large CEU libraryMonthly tech stipendLiability insurance coverageTraining on Basic Life Support (CPR & First Aid) Certification and Safety-Care® Behavioral Safety CertificationMileage reimbursementCompetitive salary (dependent on professional and academic experience)Work Environment and Physical Demands:Ability to lift up to 25 poundsModerate to high stress levelsWork fluctuates between a center and home environment. Regular contact with Parent / Caregiver /community members and outside agency personnel.Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behavior.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:Aura has both full-time and part-time positions available. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Weekend presence is rare and specific to clinical necessity.
