Optomechanical Assembly Technician

***** 12 months contractJob **We are seeking an Associate Test Engineer to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, optics assembly, troubleshooting, and calibration in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with lasers, optical components, and large mechanical tools while following strict safety and cleanliness protocols.Assemble, disassemble, and test optical and mechanical components.Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment following written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Work in a Class 100 cleanroom with full protective gear (bunny suit, gloves, safety goggles).Handle and move heavy tools and equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs.).Perform cable routing and integration of systems.Document assembly, testing, and troubleshooting processes accurately.Work collaboratively with engineering teams to improve assembly and testing procedures.Adhere to strict cleanliness and safety guidelines for laser operations.Participate in an intensive on-the-job training programMechanical ** Assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and following written instructions.Optics ***** Experience with lasers, crystals, and optical components (not fiber optics).Computer ***** Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, software loading, and troubleshooting.Testing & ***** Understanding how to handle and test optical/mechanical components**Optical/Mechanical Components LasersTroubleshootingCalibrationOpen to fresh grads, those with hobbies in mechanics, optics, or tinkering with electronics.About US Tech **US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
