Kool has an exceptional reputation, unapparelled customer service, and we are looking for an experienced self-starting entrepreneur to join our team!The Business Development Manager will drive growth, innovation, and thought leadership while exemplifying the Mission, Vision, and Values of Kool Logistics.Compensation Package OfferingsBusiness Development and Customer Sales Only with Kool Operations Support: Base Salary + 5% commissionCradle to Grave and Manage your own Book of Business: Base Salary + 15% commissionEssential FunctionsExpand the Kool customer portfolio by opening and developing new client relationships.Prospect potential new customers.Source and refine additional revenue opportunities within our existing client base.Learn, maintain, and grow your understanding and ability within our CRM system.Collaborate, drive and lead KPI and process improvement conversations with key stakeholders.Establish effective relationships with internal resources that ensure Kool's high-performance standards align with customer expectations.Define and deploy client specific account management practices that drive growth, expand service offerings, and improve customer retention.Develop strong and positive relationships with all the GM's and operations teams at Kool.Possess a high level of how transportation systems operate, including order process, updates, and claim management.Achieve and exceed budgeted volume and revenue targets.Drive customer satisfaction and retention by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.Ensure contract compliance, terms, and conditions.Maintain close customer relationships and cross-sell additional service offerings.Represent Kool as an indispensable supply chain partner through QBR and annual business reviews.Collaborate with client leadership to develop customer specific reporting suites.Learn and possess key aspects of our TMS including order flow, reporting suite and operations capabilities.QualificationsStrong team orientation and dedication to success.Confident and persistent.Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and excel in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines.Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.The ability to travel.Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, corporate personnel, vendors, and customers.Excellent analytical, problem resolution, negotiating and project management skills.
