This position is essential to our mission of fostering success within the insurance industry while providing exceptional service to our clients. The Sales Manager will lead and measure our ACA retention team. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and people skills and the ability to influence others to follow processes and procedures. The Sales Manager will monitor sales production and application processes. Must have administrative and organization skills, be detail oriented and most importantly, the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven company and make a positive impact in the community.ResponsibilitiesLead sales agents to accomplish daily high impact targetsAssist sales agents and supervisors with customers case to case scenarios and find solutions to achieve their sales quotasUnderstand multiple Medicare and ACA plans benefits, networks and moreAnalyze daily sales results and go over metrics to identify areas of improvementAssist with network search and health product questionsManage the companys customer relationship management (CRM) system, including inputting and organizing customer data and using the CRM to communicate with sales agents.Understand Affordable Care Act rules and qualifications to create new applications in the marketplace to assist agents with health plan explanations and Healthsherpa ACA enrollment applicationsResponsible for training and onboarding for new sales agents on the teamManage remote team, listen to sales calls and perform QA auditsEducation & ExperienceLicense 215 or 2403+ years of experience Health Insurance Sales role5+ years Sales Manager experienceProficiency with Sunfire, Connecture and/or Healthsherpa enrollment platformsKnowledge of major Medicare and ACA carriers including but not limited to Humana, WellCare, Aetna, Oscar, Ambetter, UHCKnowledge of State Medicaid applications, LIS applications, Medicare Parts understandingAffordable Care Act Education and understanding of APTC rules & CSR levelsUnderstands Marketplace agent compliance metrics including client consents and enrollment guidelinesUnderstands ancillary products, private short term medical policies and off-exchange plansKey CompetenciesUnderstands Medicare, Medicaid, Social security Rules and BenefitsCommunication and Organization skillsBuilding teams and Leadership experienceUnderstands Major Medicare and ACA Plan Carriers such as Humana, Ambetter, Oscar, UHC, Aetna,Health plan research and analysisKnowledge of state-based ACA exchanges and use of platformsStrong communication and people skillsAbility to multi-task while monitoring agent phone callsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPatience to listen and understand needsCooperative and team playerCRM managementStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple lines of productsCritical thinkerProficiency with Google Sheets, Slack, Healthsherpa, Sunfire and Connecture platformsPreferably in English and SpanishIf youre ready to lead a dynamic team in the fast-paced world of insurance sales, we invite you to apply now and be part of our exciting journey at IDEA Insurance LLC!Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year + commissionsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personExperience: Health Insurance Sales: 5 yearsAbility to Commute: Orlando, FL 32819 or relocate before starting work
