Real Estate Paralegal - NYC (hybrid)Boutique real estate law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, developments, and construction projects for major office, retail, shopping center, industrial, and multi-family properties. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals and help support clients in all aspects of real estate law.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in preparing and managing legal documents related to real estate acquisitions, financings, developments, and construction projects.Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, including purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and construction contracts.Coordinate with clients, title companies, surveyors, and other third parties to gather necessary documentation and resolve issues.Prepare closing documents and assist in real estate closings, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and properly filed.Research and summarize relevant laws, regulations, and case law related to real estate transactions, zoning, land use, and construction law.Maintain organized case files, manage documents in the firm's document management system, and track project deadlines.Assist with managing project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are updated regularly.Communicate with clients and outside parties to facilitate the progress of real estate matters.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and assist in managing any legal risks in transactions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law, particularly in acquisitions, financings, developments, and construction.Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions, including financing, leasing, and development agreements.Experience with document management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside parties.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.***** $85-105K base commensurate with experience plus discretionary bonusThis role is onsite in Manhattan four days a week.
