Essential FunctionsResponsible for Estimating TeamPlan, develop and coordinate estimating effortsOversees bid process, review of takeoffs for sheet metal, piping and plumbing as they relate to each project.Coordinate Bid Documents, Bid Dates and Project DeliverablesMaintain accurate and complete bid estimatesInteraction with Customers as part of Bid Review, Project InterviewsMust be self-motivated with excellent time management skillsSummary of DutiesWorking closely with President & SVP Sales to develop & execute estimating capabilities & relationshipsManaging & Training of Estimating Team (Sheetmetal, Pipe & Plumbing Estimators)Coordinate with Design Team and Project Management Team on new projects for turnoverLead Turnover Process from Estimating to Project Team for new jobsAbility to manage multiple bid projects and meet due dateDevelop Accurate and Complete EstimatesMaintain Data Base for Estimating TeamCoordinates with vendors for accurate scopes and pricing on projectsBuild Relationships and Alliances with Suppliers, Equipment Manufactures and SubcontractorsQualifications and Required SkillsMust possess a working knowledge of construction documentation and pricingAbility to read plans and specifications and translate them into estimates.Preferred BS/BA in Construction Management, Engineering or a related fieldStrong Experience of 5+ years of construction estimating experience/ ManagementDesign Assist & TVD ExperienceExperience with VE's, RFIs, Change orders, is highly preferredExperience with Revit, Bluebeam, On-screen Takeoff, Timberline or other estimating softwareKnowledge of Revit, Quick Pen, Autodesk, Excel, Google Docs, NavisworksTechnical Knowledge for MEP / HVAC Systems & DesignExperience In MEP Systems background
