Job Title: Senior AccountantLocation: South Seattle, WA (Onsite)Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 annuallyJob Description:CV Resources is partnering with a dynamic nonprofit organization to identify a Senior Accountant with NetSuite experience in South Seattle. As a key member of their finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting their mission through sound financial practices.Position Overview:The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using NetSuite software and a strong background in nonprofit accounting. This is an onsite position located in South Seattle, WA.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for management, board of directors, and external stakeholders.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts.Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with all nonprofit accounting regulations, including GAAP and IRS regulations.Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.Assist with the preparation for annual audits and provide support to external auditors.Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial planning and resource allocation.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in nonprofit accounting.Strong experience with NetSuite software is required.Knowledge of nonprofit financial regulations and accounting principles.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Benefits Package:Generous vacation and sick leave policies.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Short- and long-term disability insurance.Life insurance.Retirement account with employer matching.Professional development program, including funding for certifications and courses.PandoLogic.
