Maintenance Manager

Role OverviewThe Maintenance Manager ensures the efficiency and reliability of all wash processes, maximizes machine performance, oversees scheduled maintenance, and contributes to CAPEX projects. They collaborate with the General Manager to lead and support the local maintenance team in maintaining plant and equipment operations.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and oversee a preventive maintenance program.Schedule maintenance to minimize downtime while ensuring safety compliance.Utilize and enforce adherence to CMMS.Diagnose system issues and provide technical support.Maintain and troubleshoot PDM systems, including software and hardware updates.Analyze equipment performance and recommend cost-effective improvements.Execute CAPEX projects within budget and timelines.Direct and support maintenance staff in equipment installation, repair, and upkeep.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Monitor machine downtime and oversee parts inventory.Train and develop maintenance personnel.Performance MetricsPlant wash cost per unit (fixed and variable).Repair and maintenance expenses.Budget adherence for packaging materials.OSHA compliance and safety performance.Timely execution of plant projects.Compliance with food safety and environmental regulations.Achieving Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) targets.Decision-Making AuthorityRecommend plant CAPEX investments and ROI analysis.Manage CAPEX budgets ($3M-$11M annually).Oversee wash machines and related equipment.Control individual facility maintenance budgets.
