Job Title: Executive Assistant to ChefLocation: NYCSalary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per yearJob Type: Full-Time, OnsiteOverview:We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to support a renowned Michelin-starred Chef in a fast-paced culinary environment. There are currently 5 restaurants in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have exceptional multitasking skills, be fluent in English (and ideally Korean), and be comfortable managing a range of administrative tasks. This role is critical in ensuring the Chef's schedule is efficiently managed, restaurant projects stay on track, and communication is handled effectively across each of the restaurant's management teams and stakeholders. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys organizing both daily logistics, reports, and long-term initiatives, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Schedule & Calendar Management:Organize and manage the Chef's busy email and calendar, scheduling meetings, media engagements, events, and travel.Handle logistical follow-up emails, ensuring smooth communication and timely responses.Project Coordination & Progress Tracking:Track the progress of ongoing restaurant projects across multiple locations, ensuring milestones are met.Aggregate results from all five restaurant locations, preparing reports and providing insights.Communication & Investor Relations:Serve as the main point of contact for the Chef with investors and ensure follow-up on key tasks and progress.Facilitate communication between the Chef and other restaurant staff, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.Financial & Administrative Support:Draft and manage contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly outlined and executed.Handle expense reports and assist with financial tracking and management across restaurant operations.Event & Travel Planning:Plan and organize domestic and international business travel for the Chef and key team members.Coordinate events, special culinary engagements, and media appearances.General Administrative Support:Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chef, including assisting with daily operational tasks and business-related correspondence.Ensure the efficient functioning of the Chef's office, organizing documents and managing the flow of information.Help coordinate reservations for VIPs on behalf of the Chef Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or Office Assistant, preferably in the culinary, hospitality, or high-end restaurant industry.Proficient in G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and restaurant/hospitality software is a plus.Strong multitasking abilities and excellent time management skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially via email.Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.Experience compiling and distributing reports to team membersFluent in English (required).Proficiency in Korean is highly preferred, as it will be essential for communication with key stakeholders.Hours/Schedule:Approximately 10 AM to 7 PM, Mon-Fri.
