Our client roster includes the who's who of food retailers, seafood distributors and major foodservice players who rely upon our signature products - Alaskan Snow Legs(R) and Otokama(R) - to indulge and delight their shoppers and diners.Position SummaryThis is an executive level Business to Business food products sales position. The Business Development Manager develops and maintains profitable business relationships with Corporate Level Buyers in the retail, food service, industrial and institutional channels of the food industry primarily in North America. Hybrid work is contingent on location.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute effective sales plans and strategies for the marketing of specially surimi seafood products, a new line of plant-based seafood products and a new product line in development.Manage existing accounts and develop new client accounts.Collaborate with senior management and marketing staff to develop marketing plans, including media and promotional strategy, tactics and collateralParticipate in corporate headquarters sales presentations, trade shows and end-user presentations.Provides senior management with status, performance and budget reports.Achieve product and brand distribution goalsIdentifying growth opportunities for our established brands and for our pipeline new productsEnthusiastic representation of the brand at product demos, corporate events and trade showsClear visibility of account status and your account development efforts through diligent maintenance of our CRM platformRequired Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesQuantifiable Business to Business sales experience and abilityA professional corporate image and demeanorExcellent communication and presentation skillsDigitally literate and administratively self sufficientAble to travel on short notice to address customer needs and concernsSpeak, read and write EnglishDesirable Training and Experience5+ years of experience in customer packaged goods (CPG) sales, including field and headquarter experienceRetail supply chain knowledgePrevious corporate level Business to Business sales experience.Experience garnering and conduction high level meetings (Manager to C-suite)Experience and training in the food industry with emphasis on sales and distribution.Certificates and Licenses RequiredA valid drivers license and insuranceA valid US passportCompensationBase salary + CommissionCurrent total compensation average is $122,000/year, with no cap on commissions.BenefitsPaid Medical/Dental/VisionVacation and Sick LeavePaid Holidays401(k) PlanTo ApplyClick the Easy Apply button or complete our formal application which can be found under the "˜Careers' tab at and submit it to our office via fax, email, mail, or drop off.Sugiyo U.S.A., Inc., 3200 T Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221Tel: 360-293-0180; Fax: 360-293-6964, Email: hr@
