Most notably, many of our production processes qualify as zero carbon footprint activities and the Aiken site has reduced its carbon footprint by 88% since 2002.Job Summary/Accountabilities:Leads/manages all aspects of the Aiken Plant Maintenance function. Responsible for leading maintenance engineering and craft labor resources to meet established goals and objectives. Principle accountabilities include effective plant maintenance programs to ensure the proper installation, operation and reliability of all plant production and utility equipment, developing and implementing department budgets, plant environmental systems compliance, implementation of safety programs. Partner with production leader and resources to achieve plant operational and corporate goals.**Technical maintenance engineering knowledgePractical knowledge of plant waste streams and environmental systems complianceDemonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentLeadership and interpersonal skills to coach and communicate with technical and craft labor.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.**Must have either a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 4 years applied engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Leadership experience with technical and craft labor workforces required. PC literate (AGY network, intranet, Microsoft office suite). Must be/become proficient with maintenance systems EAM.
