Job Overview: Directs and organizes the activities of the Food and Beverage Department to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and merchandising to maximize profits.This F&B Supervisor position has an emphasis and focus on Restaurant Floor, service and guest satisfaction.Responsibilities and Duties:• Work the Restaurant floor, work with staff to ensure service standards.• Clearly describe, assign, train and work with the culinary team to ensure positive partnership with the team to ensure guest satisfaction. • Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all restaurants and bars to achieve a profitable result.• Participate with the chef, and work with F&B Director in the creation of attractive and merchandising menus designed to attract a predetermined customer market.• Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs.• Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of the individual restaurants and banquet service, to recommend to management new operating and marketing policies whenever declining or constant sales imply dissatisfaction by the customers, a material change in the make-up or the customer market, or a change in the competitive environment.Specific Job Knowledge and Skills:The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.• Considerable skill in complex mathematical calculations without error.• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, Education:High School DiplomaFood handling and Serve Safe certificationsExperience: Experience working at F&B operations within a hotel preferred3 years restaurant experience required The position must have the flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays • Complies with health and safety rules, regulations and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
