In this role, you will perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded joints and structural steel components. We will rely on you to ensure that all welding activities are performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications and verify that all welding equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition. RequirementsAt least 3 years' experience in structural steel and/or mechanical equipment.AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferredKnowledge of welding processes, welding equipment, and welding safety practicesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsIdeally, you'll also *Experience performing QA/QC of structural steel fabricationAmerican Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) certifications (**** UT, MT, PT)
