As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be a key player in the estimating team, helping to ensure that our HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems are accurately estimated and that projects come in on time and within budget. You will be working on large-scale multifamily construction projects, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, and playing a critical role in bringing our clients' visions to life.Why You'll Love Working Here:Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a salary range of $80,000 - $130,000, based on your experience, with room for growth.Full Benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.Growth Opportunities: With our growing portfolio of exciting projects, youll have the opportunity to grow professionally and expand your skillset.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a positive and flexible work environment that supports work-life balance.Great Team Culture: Work alongside a supportive and dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.Your Responsibilities Include:Estimate Mechanical Systems: Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for multifamily construction projects.Analyze Plans & Specifications: Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine mechanical system requirements and identify any potential issues.Costing & Bidding: Develop accurate and competitive cost proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors, obtaining competitive pricing and ensuring quality and efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the operations team to ensure estimates align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.Risk Management: Identify and assess any risks, providing recommendations to mitigate cost overruns and delays.What We're Looking For:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical estimating for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems, specifically in multifamily construction projects.Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and codes/regulations.Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate and detailed estimates while managing multiple projects simultaneously.Team Player: A collaborative mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required.Ready to Join Us?If you're ready to take your estimating career to the next level and make a significant impact in the multifamily construction space, we want to hear from you!
