Please only consider applying if you are within reasonable commuting distance and comfortable working full-time in-person.The Business Coach is an integrated member of the leadership team responsible for coaching, developing and supporting new financial advisors in order to help them get off to a fast start in their careers. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Development. The role is based full-time in Campbell, California (office is directly across from the Pruneyard).Responsibilities:Help new financial advisors maintain focus on high activity and effective sales habits; encourage advisors to build the daily activity habits needed for continued success in the career and help advisors hold themselves accountable to their daily activity goalsBuild and maintain high morale and positive energy/momentum toward high performance (e.g., Pacesetter 40)Hold individual, 10-minute activity coaching meetings with each new advisors three days per week for approximately the first six months of their careerHelp new FRs develop accountability to consistently and accurately track their activity in CRM so that they have the data needed to continually analyze their practice and adjust actions to achieve success.Participate in Board of Review meetings to provide perspective on activity.Communicate activity coaching updates weekly to leadership teamProvide support during the week, e.g., answering questions, providing insights, as neededAct as a general resource for all new advisorsAssist District Director with all special projects, as neededIdeal Candidate Characteristics:High level of coaching skills, e.g., empathy paired with honesty, listening, supportive, trustworthy, goal-orientedHigh level of credibility with the leadership team and advisors in the officeAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and build high-trust relationshipsAbility to coach new advisors and inspire confidence and growth through a healthy balance of challenge and supportStrong ability to multitask through effective time management skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
