Our client is seeking a Senior Benefits Manager for a 12-18 month contract. Hybrid in Oakland, CA. Amazing company perks that will make your commute worthwhile!In this role you will assume a strategic leadership role in the overarching design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our global employee benefits programs. This senior-level position requires a visionary approach to employee wellness and benefits, combined with experience in benefits strategy and execution. Your leadership will be pivotal in aligning our benefits offerings with our organizational goals and employee needs to ensure open enrollment goes smoothly for employee satisfaction and retention.Key Responsibilities:Lead the evaluation and redesign of existing benefits programs to enhance competitiveness and ensure they meet the diverse needs of a global workforce.Oversee the management and administration of all employee benefits programs, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks.Manage a team of benefits professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing department.Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate benefits strategy with broader HR and organizational strategies.Develop global vendor management strategies; negotiate with service providers to secure cost-effective, high-quality services.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in benefits design and administration at the enterprise level.Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence C-level executives and stakeholders.Expertise in the global benefits landscape, including an understanding of diverse cultural and regulatory environments.Demonstrated experience managing a team of HR/benefits professionals.Advanced analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize resources effectively.High proficiency in using HRIS and benefits management systems to streamline and automate processes.Proven track record in leading change and implementing large-scale benefits initiatives.Empathy and strong ethical standards in dealing with confidential information and employee concerns.Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
