We are seeking a Business Development Representative that comes with 3+ years of product sales experience to join our growing sales team!Job **Identify and pursue opportunities to sell education products to target market segments through calls, meetings, and joint sales efforts with regional managers and dealers.Develop and execute quarterly objectives to meet annual goals.Assist in implementing business development strategies in educational markets.Identify new market opportunities and build and maintain customer relationships.Track industry trends, competitor activities, and new product ideas.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote products in both traditional and non-traditional educational markets.Prepare reports and clearly communicate product features and benefits.Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce.Attend industry trade shows and networking events as required.Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.3+ years of business development or sales experience.Ability to travel up to 10-25%, initially for trade shows and events.Proven success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop successful growth strategies.Understanding of industry trends and customer needs, with the ability to create innovative solutions.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical, financial, and legal documents.Software proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, video conferencing platforms, and ERP software.Additional Information*** Direct Hire***** $80-85k/yr. + Bonus based on achieving metrics ($5-10k/yr.)***** Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm OR Mon - Thurs 7:45am - 5pm, Friday 7:45am - 12:30pm** Edina, MN** Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, HSA or FSA, 401k Contribution - 50% of first 5% contributed, 100% vested immediately, Profit sharing if SICO exceeds a 3% profitAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
