Project Controls Lead AnalystðŸ“Location: Columbia, SC (Project Site in Florence, SC)💼Job Type: Contract (Hybrid - 40 hrs onsite, 10 hrs remote per week)📅Duration: 12+ months (High Possibility of Extension)About the RoleAn industry-leading company is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead Analyst to oversee planning, scheduling, and cost control functions for a Battery Plant Construction project in Florence, SC. This role requires a highly skilled Primavera P6 professional with a strong background in earned value management (EVM) and large-scale project scheduling.This is a hybrid role with 40 hours onsite and 10 hours remote per week. A per diem of $115/day is available for candidates residing 50+ miles from the project site.Key Responsibilities✅ Project Scheduling & PlanningLead Primavera P6 scheduling for a large-scale industrial project (10K+ activities).Perform float analysis, earned value tracking, startup planning, and constructability reviews.Ensure turnaround schedule optimization, particularly in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.Develop forecasting models for cost and schedule performance.✅ Project Controls & Cost ManagementImplement earned value management (EVM) techniques.Track cost performance, variances, and budget compliance.Identify and escalate schedule risks and cost overruns proactively.✅ Contract & Change ManagementReview and interpret contractual scheduling requirements.Support change management and risk mitigation strategies.Collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with project scope and deliverables.✅ Stakeholder Coordination & ReportingWork closely with construction teams, engineers, and senior management.Provide weekly/monthly reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.Handle overseas communication (10 hrs/week remote for coordination).Required Qualifications✔ 5+ years of Primavera P6 experience (must-have).✔ 3+ years of earned value (EVM) experience (must-have).✔ 1+ year of construction industry experience.✔ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (OR 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree).✔ Strong background in project scheduling, cost control, and forecasting.Preferred Qualificationsâž• Experience with large industrial or energy projects (Oil & Gas, Power, EPC, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, etc.).âž• Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.âž• Experience with contract analysis and change management.Work Conditions & Perks50-hour workweek (40 hrs onsite + 10 hrs remote).Per diem of $115/day for candidates living 50+ miles from the project site.
