Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and team leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, client relationship management, and a deep understanding of construction processes.Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight & Leadership:Manage all phases of multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.Lead preconstruction efforts, including contract negotiation, budgeting, value engineering, and permitting.Develop and implement strategic project plans, ensuring all milestones are met.Monitor project risks, identifying and mitigating potential delays and cost overruns.Budget & Financial Management:Establish and maintain project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.Review and approve change orders, invoices, and subcontractor pay applications.Work closely with executive leadership and accounting teams to ensure financial accountability.Scheduling & Coordination:Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, tracking milestones and progress.Ensure subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers meet deadlines and contractual obligations.Work with superintendents and field teams to ensure seamless execution of project plans.Client & Stakeholder Relations:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and proactive problem-solving.Manage relationships with public agencies, ensuring compliance with local building codes and permitting requirements.Quality Control & Safety Compliance:Oversee and enforce quality assurance programs, ensuring all work meets industry standards.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and job-site best practices.Conduct regular site visits, monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring project goals are met.Team Leadership & Development:Supervise and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and support staff.Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide performance evaluations and training opportunities to support team growth.Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role.Proven experience in managing ground-up, tenant improvement (TI), and renovation projects.
