We deliver new features at lightning speed, releasing two updates per week to our AWS-hosted cloud platform, ensuring both innovation and quality in a high-productivity environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid (New England area in-person / remote) position for a Product Engineer (PE) at agencyEZ. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills and enterprise B2B application product skills. Someone with the potential to grow into the role of a Product Manager would be our ideal candidate.The ideal candidate will have the following three important skills:1) Natural fluency in coding in Java and related technologies, including:REST Architecture, Open API, OpenAI (GPT) integrationJSON/XML/Excel/PDF processing using JavaApplication security with a grasp of encryption technologiesAWS infrastructure experience (BeanStalk, EC2, VPC, AWS Security, MySQL RDS, etc.) for SaaS product developmentAbility to leverage GPT for coding and rapid product build productivityUnderstanding of Machine Learning models and their business applications is a plus2) A natural flair for understanding business intent, recognizing industry, customer, and user pain points, and identifying value drivers. Someone who can ideate innovative product features and think outside the box. We want sharp, alternative thinkers.3) Passionate individuals who can defend their ideas while also being compassionate and empathetic toward co-workers, customers, and users. We seek team players who are easy to work with, confident, and open-minded.Among Items 1 and 2, our immediate requirement resonates with Item 1. If you are not strong on Item 2 but have a general interest and aptitude, we can groom you for the role.In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager and the company's founder, gaining invaluable insights and contributing directly to the company's strategic direction. After establishing yourself with a solid grasp of our suite of products, current code architecture, and ability to modify and enhance functionalities, you will be groomed for the role of Product Manager over the next one to two years. For those with the drive and ambition, there is potential for further growth, potentially becoming our Chief Product Officer over time.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and roll out product capabilities and features while managing U.S.-based product team members (e.g., product analysts, product testers, etc.). This involves contributing personally to coding the business application product and ensuring overall product quality as we expand the team.Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams, effectively communicating and training these teams while quickly addressing market and prospective customer needs without bureaucratic delays.Collaborate with our Engineering and offshore teams, which focus on the core platform and frameworks, while the U.S. team focuses on the industry application product suite built on our core platform.Lead Generative AI and Machine Learning adoption in the platform and overall AI infusion into every aspect of our SaaS suite.Represent the platform in major prospective customer meetings, attend demos, understand industry pain points and needs, and translate them into product solutions.Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in problem-solving and bringing solutions to market quickly, even under constraints.QualificationsExperience: 4 to 7 years of progressive experience with a proven track record in a B2B SaaS product environment or consumer-oriented software product company.Past responsibility in product rollouts is key, even if not as the leader of such initiatives. Experience in product development and launch is essential.Experience in engineering/product development in successful SaaS companies is highly desirable.A high GPA in an undergraduate Computer Science degree from a top school, coupled with SaaS product experience, is preferred.Public-facing credentials such as technical authorship, white papers, GitHub or open-source contributions would be a plus.Experience with publicly available products you have led or been involved with is another way we can evaluate your work.Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.While we respect work-life balance, this role requires full commitment in a high-pressure startup environment. We seek someone focused solely on this role and not juggling other jobs.While we accept individual contributors, some experience in leading small teams is beneficial.Work Authorization RequirementAt this time, we can only hire U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.LocationNew England (Greater Boston and nearby States) area is preferred but other locations can be considered for qualified candidates.We offer the ability to work from home, flexible schedule, and no particular restriction on time off.Salary and BenefitsCompensation is negotiable for the right and exceptional candidate:$160K - $170K annual salary + 10-15% quarterly cash bonusEquity stock in the companyBenefits and 401K contribution
