Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position **We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, and crushing equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.Diagnose, repair, and maintain dozers, excavators, and crushing equipment.Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.Replace or repair components such as engines, transmissions, pumps, and hydraulic systems.Conduct welding and fabrication as needed for repairs.Maintain accurate service and repair records.Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess problems efficiently.Work independently or as part of a team in a shop or field setting. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance. High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.**Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computer-based troubleshooting.
