MERCURY incorporates advanced digital engineering methods for both commercial and defense applications.Role Description This is a full-time role for a Spacecraft Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will be designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for our satellites.Key **Design and develop advanced avionics subsystems for satellites.Design and develop test plans for avionics subsystems.Collaborate with research engineers to drive innovation and contribute to the companys intellectual property (IP) portfolio.Integrate avionics subsystems with other satellite subsystems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to avionics hardware and software.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Document design processes, test results, and system performance.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.**Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in spacecraft systems electrical / avionics engineeringProficiency in hardware and software development for satellite avionics systemsExperience in handling, assembling, and testing space flight hardwareExperience developing and reviewing electrical block diagramsExperience in satellite harness design and specificationExperience designing and assembling PCBAs for space applicationsExperience working with ESD protocolsExperience working in clean room environmentsExperience with Digital Electronics (FPGA) / Embedded Systems.Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and software simulationsExperience with RF systemsProficiency in C, C++, Python
