Remote Vendor Operations Manager

We are seeking a Vendor Operations Manager to support our clients team. You will drive onboarding for our new inventory vendors ensuring accurate technical system integration, owning partnership negotiations and creating alignment with our operational expectations and Terms and Conditions.Pay range: $30-40/hourPart time: 15-20 hours a week, 3-4 hours daily Monday-Friday Contract 1-2 months100 % remote ideally based in West CoastKey Responsibilities:Vendor Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new inventory vendors, ensuring accurate technical system integration and alignment with operational expectations and Terms and Conditions. Vendor Maintenance: Update and keep Vendor Manual current. Update the tracker and keep an eye out on expirations. Support cross-functional teams in process development and change management as vendor-facing operational processes evolve, ensuring alignment across vendors and internal stakeholders.Workflow Management: Understand and manage the workflow, including the various systems and steps vendors must go through. Work closely with the merchandise team to ensure they are informed about vendor status, plug into the tracker, and stay on top of where vendors are in the pipeline. Provide updates on next stages.Inbox Management: Manage requests coming through the vendor onboarding inbox (Gmail) daily. Address questions about vendors, onboarding, and manage vendor amendments.Contract Management: Manage contract extensions, update trackers, and bring attention to expirations to the appropriate team or person. Collaborate with Jen on writing the terms.Vendor Support: Provide basic vendor support and ensure smooth operations.Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years experience in vendor management, onboarding, corporate business operations, project managementStrong understanding of workflow management and process development.Prior experience working with vendors Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks and vendors simultaneously.Proficiency in Google Suites, Excel, and Google Docs
