McMillan Electric Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our growing team. The Electronics Technician is responsible for building, testing, and verifying new motors and controls, conducting application testing, operating various measurement and electrical test equipment.Job FunctionsProcess new motor requests from concept to customer submittal.Perform measurement and analytical testing with a wide range of laboratory equipment, including; sound meter, oscilloscope, stroboscope, magtrol computerized dynamometer, and Fluke data collector.Prepare and present technical test reports, such as a computerized speed/torque curve, noise analysis, environmental testing (temperature & humidity).QualificationsAssociates degree in an electronics related discipline or a minimum of 3 years work-related experience in an electronics field.Demonstrate problem solving skills, scientific principles, and creativity to troubleshoot and resolve problems to an electronic component level.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of electric motors, electronic circuits, microprocessor chips and their programming.Experience with Labview and PLCs.Possesses soldering skills and understanding of IPC standards.If you are a dedicated Electronics Technician with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
