Job Summary:The Restoration Supervisor is responsible for working as part of a team to perform emergencyservices and contents restoration work while adhering to company policies and proceduresregarding remediation. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirementsregarding safety and hazardous materials handling. Other qualifications and responsibilitiesmight arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. The individual must be available foremergency response work after-hours and on weekends.TOP pay and benefits providedKey Responsibilities:Restore residential and commercial properties by bringing the affected areas to dry standard in a timely and efficient mannerMonitor and document temperature and humidity readings from Job sitesSetup of emergency services equipment, preparing contents for storage and lifting items into storageRegularly set-up containment areas, and drying chambersCleaning, HEPA vacuuming and disinfection of contaminated contents and work areasComplete job site documentation, including; moisture maps, field logs, and photo and video documentationFollow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gearOperate routinely used tools and equipmentPerform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipmentPerform work at high elevations such as from a ladder and scaffoldingOther duties as assignedTechnical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Communication Skills -- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports andcorrespondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of theorganization.Work Environment: Working around equipment and machinery, the work environment isusually dirty, dusty and noisy, on uneven ground/surfaces containing hazardous or potentiallyhazardous substances and/or materials and is subject to inclement or extreme weatherconditions and temperatures. Work includes handling hazardous materials and the use ofpersonal protective equipment. Frequent travel is required for this position. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essentialfunctions.Physical Demands: Must be in good physical health and be able to meet the medical clearancerequirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination and drugscreening. Able to wear full and half face respirator, work in confined spaces and regularly liftand carry 50+ pounds.
