The Human Resources Specialist (Recruiting) is responsible for driving the full-cycle recruitment process and supporting key HR functions. This fast-paced, high-exposure role will focus on sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, and optimizing HR processes to support business objectives.This position will play a critical role in identifying staffing needs and developing creative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with HR policies and best practices.Job Duties / Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (Primary Focus)Own the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of roles across the organization.Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop compelling job descriptions, and create effective hiring strategies.Leverage multiple recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to attract top talent.Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate pipelines and ensure a smooth recruitment process.Drive employer branding initiatives by promoting the company's culture, values, and career opportunities through social media and other channels.Develop and implement strategies for high-volume hiring to support business growth and seasonal workforce demands.Ensure an efficient candidate experience by providing clear communication, interview coordination, and timely feedback.Track and report key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, applicant conversion rates) to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.Stay updated on industry trends, labor market insights, and best practices to continuously improve recruitment efforts.HR Operations & ComplianceSupport new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company.Process and maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Assist in administering compensation, benefits, and leave policies.Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and system inquiries.Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement programs that enhance the employee experience and retention efforts.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including tracking and documentation of mandatory and non-mandatory training, certifications, and workplace assessments.Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives, with a focus on workforce planning and talent development.Job Requirements and Qualifications:Education:Associates degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience:2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR operations in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS software (Workable, Paylocity preferred).Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices related to hiring and onboarding.Prior experience in employer branding and social media recruiting is a plus.Skills & Attributes:Strong ability to source passive candidates and engage top talent.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers, candidates, and team members.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment while maintaining attention to detail.Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to improving processes and efficiency.High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
