Midtown-based global law firm is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join them temporarily. They are on-site four days per week and are looking for somebody who is motivated, sharp, and looking to start their career in recruiting.Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteHourly pay rate: $25 - $30/hrHours: 9:30am - 5:30pm (must be flexible to work OT)As a Legal Recruiting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process within a legal firm or department. Your responsibilities will involve administrative tasks, candidate sourcing, and coordination with hiring managers and candidates. Youll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process, from initial candidate contact to onboarding.Key Responsibilities:Utilize various platforms and databases to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and professional networksScreen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements and qualificationsAssist in scheduling interviews, coordinating interview logistics, and communicating with candidates and hiring managersMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or databasePrepare and distribute correspondence, such as offer letters, rejection letters, and other recruitment-related documentsServe as a point of contact for candidates, providing information about job opportunities, interview schedules, and company policiesLiaise with hiring managers and other team members to ensure alignment on recruitment needs and prioritiesFacilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers, including conveying feedback and coordinating next steps in the recruitment processAssist with the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions, collecting required documentation, and facilitating the completion of administrative tasksProvide general support to the legal recruitment team, including assisting with special projects, event coordination, and other recruitment-related activitiesQualifications:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrevious experience in recruiting, preferably within the legal industryStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanorProficiency in MS Office applications and experience with applicant tracking systems or HR databasesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionA proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and business needs
