CompanyOur client is a 30+ year old 3PL with over 10 locations, 5 million sq. feet of warehousing space across the United States. The core focus of their business is B2B and D2C for clients within the retail, apparel, furniture, and home goods industries.LocationOntario, CaliforniaSummaryThe Customer Service Representative carries out all customer service activities such as responding to customer inquiries, processing orders and receipts, handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Other responsibilities include but not limited to coordinating routing and scheduling pickups with carriers. Qualified candidates will be able to plan, schedule, direct and execute the day-to-day distribution activities.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Interacts in a good working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries regarding orders, routing, shipments, inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and effective mannerPrepare routing information, schedule appointments with carriers, and shipping documents.Processes and inputs all customer ordersProduces inventory reports to check for product availabilityProduces all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer ordersCoordinates special and last-minute shipping requests with the Shipping and Operations Departments, expediting any order as necessaryProvides follow up with other departments to ensure service standards are being metEnsures proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer generated invoicesPrepares shipping and tracing information to customers as requiredCommunicates customer feedback to management including any signs of dissatisfactionActs as a liaison between the warehouse and customer in administration of the accountOversees all paperwork associated with orders and inbound receipt and maintain the corresponding filesMaintains current and accurate procedure manual, which details the processing requirements of the accountFiling and managing/updated Excel spreadsheetsOther Education, formal training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics which are desired for this position:Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applicationsProficient in MS ExcelExperience with office or clerical functions of warehousing, distribution or supply chain preferred - particularly in the retail sectorBasic typing skillsFamiliarity with 10-keyStrong communication skills, passionate about creating value to organization and customer needsExcellent customer service skillsRequirements: Willingness to learnHS diploma or equivalentBi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Compensation: $25-27/hour
