Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead a team of QA testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining testing procedures, coordinating with other teams, and ensuring that all software releases meet company standards for functionality, performance, and user experience.We need someone who can lead the testing for ETL data validation in a data modernization project.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the QA Team: Supervise and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers, ensuring they are following best practices and maintaining productivity.• Develop Test Plans: Design and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.• Test Execution: Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Identify and document defects, and follow through to resolution.• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve QA processes, techniques, and tools to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency.• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated into every phase of the product development lifecycle.• Automation Testing: Lead or contribute to the automation testing efforts, ensuring automated test scripts are maintained and executed regularly.• Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and timely reports on test progress, defects, and overall software quality to project stakeholders and management.• Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks related to product quality and suggest mitigation strategies.• Mentorship: Guide junior QA team members in best practices for testing and software quality.Job Summary:The ETL QA Lead is responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, and overseeing the testing of data transformations and migrations.
