With a rich history of successful projects and a commitment to quality, were seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Gary, Indiana.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple project teams and contribute to our bidding process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety requirementsLead and mentor project teams, including project engineers, superintendents, and other construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environmentParticipate in the bid process, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop comprehensive project estimates and proposalsManage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project objectivesReview and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project documentation while maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors and vendorsEnsure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company policies across project sitesQualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project managementProven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and industry standardsExcellent knowledge of construction scheduling software, MS Office Suite, and project management toolsSuperior leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsValid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as neededRequired Technical SkillsProficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid)Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)Strong knowledge of estimating software and cost control systemsFamiliarity with BIM and CAD softwareExpertise in reviewing and interpreting construction documents and technical specificationsWe OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesProfit SharingPerformance-based bonusesCareer growth opportunities within a stable, respected companyPowers & Sons Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
