Job Captain

We are seeking a Senior Job Captain to join a dynamic and collaborative architectural team. This role requires experience in construction document preparation and the ability to manage projects from schematic design through bidding. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience coordinating with consultants, and the ability to navigate code compliance for public projects.Key Responsibilities:Organize and oversee the development of public bid projects from schematic design through bidding.Conduct code research to ensure compliance with governing jurisdiction requirements (DSA or equivalent).Coordinate with consultant engineers to integrate technical documents.Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders, incorporating their needs into project documentation.Skills & Requirements:Strong organizational and communication skills.Experience with educational projects and DSA (or similar regulatory agency) preferred.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.Experience with AutoCAD (preferred but not required).Ability to interpret and develop construction drawings.Works well in a team-oriented environment.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.4-5+ years of experience in architectural construction documentation.California Architectural License preferred, but not required.
