Motivated Analyst or Director Needed for Boutique Investment BankRavinia Capital is a boutique investment bank to middle-market companies. Ravinia's services primarily involve sell-side advisory but also include debt and equity placement, corporate restructuring, special situations, and company assessments. Our focus is on companies with enterprise values ranging from $25-200 million.Ravinia is seeking a Director or Analyst. Looking for a motivated professional who wants deep involvement with middle-market sales, debt refinance, and capital raise assignments. As a Director or Analyst, you will help develop materials, work on processes, and interact with clients. You will rely on your analytical skills and strong understanding of accounting when you work on projects in M&A.Successful candidates will begin on a project basis with an opportunity for hire. They will gain hands on deal experience and mentorship working closely with Founder Managing Partner.***** Monthly Salary plus bonus based on performance and results.ResponsibilitiesEffectively gather, organize, and analyze large sets of data, which are often unorganized and incompleteCreate, analyze, and update 13-week cash flow models and other financial modelsUtilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications to create client deliverablesAssist on M&A transactions and financingsWork on transaction advisory and due diligence projectsPerform research and develop pitch deck support by utilizing various websites and databases, and other publicly available informationSuccessfully communicate with both clients and Ravinia team membersRequirementsAt least 18 months of experience in investment banking, accounting and/or transaction servicesBA/BS degree and/or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or other analytical fieldsAdvanced foundation in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointCapability to analyze financial statements and the ability to design, build and use comprehensive integrated financial modelsAbility to work well against deadlines and stay on task while supporting multiple work streamsAble to function well under pressure and work independently while understanding when to ask for guidanceCreative problem-solving skills with the ability to think through alternative solutionsStrong communication and business writing skillsExcellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and work ethicMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWe are based in Chicago but candidates may be located anywhere in the United States.
