The Role In a Nutshell You are a mastermind when it comes to resource allocation and coordination. You have the organizational prowess to orchestrate creative chaos into seamless brilliance. You're ready to lead the charge in a dynamic, fun, and integrated environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional knowledge of, and grows relationships with, the talent within departments, their workload and superpowers.Optimizing talent on client teams to ensure its properly aligned from a talent-to-task perspective and also budget.Creates the business case for new hires (temporary and fulltime) in collaboration with department heads, and works with HR and Operations on securing talent when it's needed on a freelance basisTranslates various utilization reports into actionable insights for themselves and department leaders.Ensures data that helps to inform workload capacity, allocations and availability are maintained.Partners with department leads to be the pulse on talent to help inform assignments, rotations, risk and overall strategic staff planning.Interface with cross-departmental contacts to ensure seamless campaign deliveryServe as a champion and advocate of agency process and workflowPartner directly with creative and project management teams dailySecure, allocate and shift resources as needed, working directly with Department Heads and client business leads, including Project ManagementContinuously develop expertise in all internal systems and tools. Support and train other team members to take full advantage of our platforms. Support ongoing maintenance of resourcing platform.Consolidate and streamline repeatable tasks to develop processLeads weekly resourcing meetings, to ensure talent is properly utilized and works to resolve any conflicts or balance workloads.Partners with Operations to review monthly billability and utilization reports and share insights and action plan with leadershipWorks with project management to ensure internal resourcing platforms are maintainedProactively strategize department staffing needs, identifying peaks/valleys, core competency gaps/redundancies based on client forecasts and trendsQualifications: 5+ Years of resourcing management expertise in marketing/advertising industryDeep understanding of the creative and production processFirm grasp of the processes within an integrated agency environment and a love of creating orderDeep understanding of the functional skills and responsibilities of various departmental rolesExcellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence across all levels of seniorityComfortable working in an environment of constant change and doing so with a positive attitudeProactive and confident in prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environmentEffective working with all levels of managementLocation is based out of our Chicago or Milwaukee OfficeLaughlin Constable is an equal opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify.
