(At this time, this is a remote position, but willingness to meet in the Reston area may be requested in the future).The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist role has proven expertise in Human Resources. This includes benefits administration, talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, and training. To succeed in this role, you should be patient and compassionate, have excellent listening skills, and be able to multitask effectively.RESPONSIBILITIES:Must have Assist in creating and distributing internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, compliance, new regulation, or company policiesCoordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programsRespond to human resources-related inquiries and coordinate with the appropriate internal and external entitiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirementsAdminister new employee on-boarding and orientationAssist in the development and maintenance of the talent management processesCollaborate with human resources and business development to develop effective recruitment strategies for active and pipeline recruitingIdentify future staffing needs and assist the respective departments in recruiting effortsReview and select resumes during hiring processes and update HRIS system accordinglySubmit monthly and annual compliance reportsProvide audit support as neededMaintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positionsProcess complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actionsAdminister annual compliance trainings to the organization through the HRIS LMS platformMaintain employee personnel records and ensure complianceCoordinate offboarding, conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action based on feedbackAssist in developing and executing HR procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operationsParticipate in development of HR objectives and systems for ongoing company requirementsAssist in the upkeep of employee handbook, contract list, and organizational chart, while taking initiative to contribute to policy development and implementationRequirementsBachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field3+ years of experience working in the human resources fieldStrong detail-oriented and resourceful mindsetKnowledge of HR federal laws and regulationsExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awarenessResourceful, problem-solving aptitude and significant knowledge of HR procedures and policiesCapacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive informationAdditional HR training or experience is a plusIntermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems (Paylocity/Unanet), and the ability to learn new technical systems as neededInfiniSource Consulting Solutions is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.
