Project Accountant

A leading construction firm located in Chicago, IL is seeking a detailed Project Accountant to join their team. The Project Accountant will support the team with payments, budgets and reviewing contracts. This is a great opportunity for someone who works well in a team environment. This role offers a competitive salary of $80k-90k/yr commensurate with experience, and benefits which include health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:Coordinate and communicate with the project team about agreements and contractsOversee project financial management, including job cost tracking, analysis, and reporting using Sage 100 and CMiCManage project-related records, approvals, and documentation, including contracts and change ordersPrepare and submit G702/G703 AIA Documents and other project financial reportsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project finances, including construction draws and billingHandle project accounting tasks such as variance analysis, account maintenance, and tax reportingPerform other financial and administrative duties as neededRequirements of the Project Accountant:2+ years of project accounting experience in construction requiredGeneral contractor experience requiredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills and highly responsiveOrganized with a sharp eye for detailAbility to meet multiple deadlines at onceP-20
